Please don't see your shadow Mr. Groundhog

From my research, I see that Phil sees his shadow about 90% of the time.  I am done with winter already, so I am hoping he doesn't see his shadow.  And yes I do believe in the power of the Groundhog Shadow!

At 7:30 AM EST on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 the world discovers if Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow - predicting six more weeks of winter!

Below is some Groundhog fun for your kiddos or classroom!

Let's start wth a song!

Groundhog's Day

Sung to: "Mary Had a Little Lamb"

Do you see your shadow,

Shadow, shadow?

Do you see your shadow?

On Groundhog's Day.

Yes, I see my shadow,

Shadow, shadow,

Yes, I see my shadow

On Groundhog's Day.

or

I don't see my shadow,

Shadow, shadow

I don't see my shadow

On Groundhog's Day.
