Happy Memorial Day to All Who Have Served and To Those that Gave Some and Some who Gave All! I was a Navy wife for the first six years of my marriage and I know what a hard life it can be on the families of those that serve. Here's picture of my husband serviing on The US Alabama 731's 50th patrol. He is somewhere in the 5 of the 50. I am very proud of his service and proud of all who serve to protect our country and keep us free!!!

My husband was on the Alabama in 97 to 99. He was the Sonar Chief back then. Just thought I'd say, how cool it must have been to be on her when she had her 50th patrol. Those are hard for families, but as a long time Navy Wife, Trident life is good in comparison. My husband is a CO of a minesweeper. Just did 7 months in Bahrain. We miss Trident life. Kudos to all sub and surface families.
