My Ode to Summer

Flip Flops, Ice Cream Shops,

Lemonade In The shade!

Waves swell, Seashells,

Taffy Time, Chase a drink with a lime!

Late Nights, Water fights,

Kids out of school, Mom’s trying to keep her cool!

Swim dates, sleeping late,

Hay’s and Peterswood Park, Catching fireflies in the dark,

Picnics with plastic forks, fireworks,

Fun with friends, hope the summer never ends!

Thunderbolt is quite a jolt!

Margaritas at Girl’s Night Out, That’s what Summers all About!!!!
